Okay this may be kind of long but worth the read! Gloria and Howard were the photographers at my brothers wedding. The pictures were amazing. So as we started planning our wedding originally I asked her to be out photographer. I had visions of this glorious fall wedding in Tennessee! In the meantime my future husband decided to convert to Catholicism. To make a very long story short due to issues we had to go all the way to the Pope to FINALLY get permission to marry in the church. This entire process took 5 1/2 years. Periodically Gloria checked in to see if we were ready to set a date. After many....no not yets...we finally got all our ducks in a row and approval from the Pope and we were set. After waiting 5 1/2 years I didn’t want to wait another year. We met with the priest and he said “I am available May 5th or after November.” So I said May 5th it is!” My first call was to Gloria (yes even before our parents) and I said “Okay May 5th but it has to be here and not Arkansas because my son makes his confirmation the next day in Knoxville.” SHE WAS AVAILABLE and I was excited. After a few other conversations it hit me. I have a month and a half to plan a wedding and the only venue available is the small hall with wood paneling and chalkboards all over the walls because it is a classroom! I started to panic. I call my mom freaking out and she says “Call Gloria. She was wonderful helping plan your brothers wedding.” So I did. Another long story short Gloria offered to bring the Hidden Chapel to Tennessee and transform the 1970’s wood paneled hall into my wedding fantasy! Every night we exchanged ideas and she would send me decoration choices and lists of what tasks and vendors I needed to contact. She kept everything on track, kept me in line and made planning a wedding in a month and a half not only possible but FUN and far less stressful than it would have been trying to do everything by myself! I work full time and have extremely busy kids so we have very little time. Not only did Gloria make sure I stayed on track and got everything done I had time the week before the wedding to get my hair colored and get a mani pedi! Friday night when I walked into the hall for rehearsal it looked like a fantasy come true! Every single detail was perfect! The day was glorious and we had a perfect time! Not a single hitch! And if there was a hitch I don’t know about it because Gloria handled it! One of my request to her was to remind me to suck in and make my neck look skinny because I have dreaded pictures lately because of the weight I had gained. She did. My “sneak peak” pictures look fantastic and I have never felt more beautiful! I can’t wait to see all of the others! I can not recommend her highly enough! Words can not express the amount of gratitude we have for all the effort she put into making our day absolutely everything we dreamed of and more! She made an impossible task easy and made a day that we had a month and a half to plan be just as beautiful and wonderful as weddings that some of my friends spent years planning! You were the one that was easy to work with! :) We will definitely refer you to anyone we know getting married or needing a photographer for anything. Thank you so much for the invitation, but James & I won't be back down south probably until Thanksgiving or Christmas. I will give the invite to my mom, dad & sisters as well in case they are around. Hi Gloria! Just wanted to say the pictures are awesome. Lee and I love them. Rona, my wedding planner got to see some of them yesterday and she loves them also. You did a wonderful job! Thank you so much Gloria for everything that you have done for us. It so funny that I have an email from you because we were just sitting here talking about the wedding and just how well that it went. That was such a joyous day for the both of us!
